    • 1/2 tsp Corn Starch
    • 1 tbsp  Hoison Sauce

Directions:

  1. For our Sauce, using a small bowl, add in your measured ingredients of teriyaki sauce, rice wine vinegar, sesame seed oil sugar, cayenne pepper, corn starch, hoison sauce, salt, pepper, garlic powder, & onion power
  2. Mix together until fully blended and set aside
  3. For our Tuna Steak Strips & Shrimp, season both with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and ginger powder
  4. Place 1-2 tablespoon of cooking oil in your cast iron grill pan/frying pan and heat up on medium-high
  5. Place your tuna steak strips in the heated pan, and cook for about 45-60 seconds on each side. (Once done, outside should have a nice sear, and the inside should be pink – if preferred)
  6. Once tuna steaks are finished searing, remove from pan and set aside, and add in your shrimp. Cook your shrimp for about 4-5 minutes, then remove from pan
  7. Add an extra tablespoon of cooking oil in the pan if needed, then add in your veggies and saute for about 2-3 minutes
  8. Once your veggies are finished sauteing, change your heat to medium-low, add your shrimp back in, and pour your sauce that you made earlier for your stirfry on top of your veggies. Mix together until sauce is thick.
  9. Back to our Tuna Strips, add back into the pan and brush the sauce on all sides of your strips, then remove from pan and thinly slice with a sharp knife (cutting your tuna steak strips with dull knife will cause your tuna to flake and crumble)
  10. To put it all together, I like to eat it with rice. (feel free to eat it with whatever – zucchini noodles, quinoa, brown ride, etc.)  just place your rice in the bowl. I like to arrange my tuna steak strips on the side, then arrange my shrimp the same, and then just add my veggies. Sprinkle the top with sesame seeds and crushed red pepper if desired.

Enjoy!
