After selling his pretty perch in Indianapolis, Carolina Panthers head coach Frank Reich has finished house hunting in Charlotte, NC.

The Panthers hired Reich in late January, and he quickly dialed up a play to snag a home in North Carolina. Reich paid $3,450,000 for the place in early March, affording him plenty of prep time for the draft and subsequent minicamps.

The four-bedroom, 5.5-bath residence sits in the tony Foxcroft neighborhood on Charlotte’s south side. The charming home sports elegant lines inside and out.

Local architect Greg Perry designed a classic look that starts with an all-glass front door, which opens to a bluestone entryway. The nearby dining room features a wall-mounted space for wine storage.

In the kitchen, there’s a huge, four-seat island that overlooks the spacious living room.

Custom built-ins, masonry fireplaces, and a layout that takes advantage of the area’s pleasant climate are just a few of the property’s amenities.

Smart-home automation controls the window shades, while an outdoor WiFi hotspot makes working from the patio a breeze.

If the coach opts for an electric vehicle at some point, the garage is set up with a convenient charging station.

A gorgeous primary suite boasts glass doors that open to the well-appointed backyard, where a fire pit, covered patio, and screened porch maximize the home’s leisure potential.

Lofty ceilings, fresh white paint, and a nearly one-acre lot made the offering practically turnkey for the coach.

Reich, 61, is likely pleased to be back in the Carolinas for work, having played quarterback for the Panthers himself during the team’s 1995 inaugural season. After his 13-year career as a signal caller ended in 1998, he moved into the coaching ranks. Reich served as the offensive coordinator for the Philadelphia Eagles’ Super Bowl-winning squad in 2018, then landed the head-coaching gig in Indianapolis. After five seasons and a record of 40-33-1, Reich was let go by the the Colts in November 2022.
