A School Bus Converted Into a Lovely Mobile Home By An Adventurous Couple

A couple who fell in love with mountain biking and hiking decided a few years ago that rather than being tied to a permanent home in the city they’d much prefer to have the freedom to travel the world. They purchased a 2011 GMC BlueBird bus and they decided to turn it into their new home. It turned out to be a great investment not just because of the price ($5500) but also because this particular bus model has an interior of almost 200 square feet. That allowed the couple to fit inside all the important functions and features and to turn it into a cool and practical mobile home.
At the front of the Outside Found bus, there’s a small entryway with a bit of storage and durable and easy to clean flooring. A cool feature here is the driver’s seat which is the original one that came with the bug. Behind it is the living room which consists of a comfy couch with built-in storage underneath and a flip-up dining table on the opposite side which can be easily folded down, leaving this area open.
The kitchen is not as small as one would expect and has all the important appliances including a small fridge, a 2-burner propane stove and a 6 gallon propane water heater. There’s also a pantry. Across from the kitchen is the office with a double desk, built-in storage and two chairs. The rest of the space inside the bus consists of a bedroom with a comfy bed, a few floating shelves and some extra storage, a bathroom with a composting toilet and a tiny shower and a storage area for things like bikes, climbing gear and other equipment.
